Simon was called to put insulation into a ceiling, plasterboard over and then skim finish. Simon was absolutely fantastic and his work was brilliant. Have previously used Simon to fully install upstairs bathroom including shower and full tiling of walls and floor to a very high standard. I have since had Simon also fully tile the entrance hall floor into and including the kitchen and refit / install the kitchen and plumb in a new sink. 10/10 rating.

Simon was timely, positive, accurate, friendly, honest (didn’t suck air through his teeth), patient, never a problem but a solution in the waiting. It was not only a pleasure to have him round but he would offer suggestions to things we were pondering and they worked out. A builder - come - friend after all he did. Happy to leave the house keys with him while we walked the dog and anyone he brought in to help (Benjamin, Rowan, Ramsay, Marcus and assistant) were spot on and Simin addressed any concerns we had immediately. All round a good builder and nice guy who did not seem phased.

We had an unfortunate incident where we had a continuous leak for 6 weeks and the only way to locate it was to remove the plaster ceiling. Simon was absolutely amazing. He contacted us right away and as new home owners, he made us feel at ease and was very professional. He managed to remove the ceiling and we found an additional ceiling covered in mould. Instead of wanting to charge us for two full ceiling removals, Simon considered our circumstances and made it affordable. The replacement ceiling is perfect, can't wait to have him back future renovations. Thank you!!

Very impressed with Simon's hard the work. The ceiling looks amazing. Its a large room and the ceiling slopes up into the roof space it needed bonding and then plastering. It took three days Simon just got on the with the job with absolute minimum inconvenience to us and carried out a swift and thorough clean up when he had finished. Simon did a fantastic job creating a new mini en-suite bathroom in our loft conversion. As always Simon was clean and tidy and worked hard to complete the job in just over a week and on this occasion undertook all works independently, which meant minimal disruption overall. Finish was to a high standard, with walls neatly plastered and pipework concealed. Simon invoiced exactly in line with quote. Simons a pleasure to have around and we are already considering further renovation works. Once again 5-star service from Simon!

Simon fitted our job in earlier than expected. He took care to cover the carpet and all furniture items and worked conscientiously to complete the plastering on day 1. The ceiling painting was completed neatly and Simon asked if we wanted him to paint the coving also, at no additional cost. He investigated the joist problem with minimum disruption, quickly identified the problem and explained the nature and additional costs of repair before proceeding. The repair was done quickly and to a good standard . Simon and his colleague were very friendly, polite, hard-working and caused minimum disruption.

What can I say about SBDS. To start, Simon and Ben are some of the most courteous and professional tradesman I have ever used. The craftmanship of the work is second to none, Simons prices are transparent, he is punctual and in my case, happy for me do some of the plaster boarding myself, to save money. Simon has fitted the work around our house renovations and has been coming back for over a year. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to Simon over the duration of work and what's more Simon even runs on thin air, requiring no refreshments. Thoroughly recommendable.

I have used Simon on a previous job to replaster my hall stairs and landing. His quality is very good so I wanted him again to plaster my lounge. It is an old property and the ceiling was pretty cracked and walls very bumpy and uneven so a complete skim was suggested by Simon. He and his son completed the job in 2 days and the standard is excellent. They cleaned up afterwards to a high standard too. They were punctual too. Am very pleased with the result. Would recommend and will use again in the future.

Simon was a pleasant chap, good price, and nothing too much trouble. Quality of the work was very good and all was completed tidily and on time. When we came to put the drier back under the surface (which Simon had offered to do) it didn't quite fit..Simon had said any problems with anything to ring him - we did and he came straight round and fitted the drier for us. Would recommend with no hesitation, and will use again.

The work completed was done do a fantastic standard. The house was in a state when we bought it however it is now looking like a home we want to live in. Rendering, guttering soffit and fascia boards all installed to an excellent standard. All materials and deliveries arrived on time with no shortages. Work area left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Simon worked non stop every day including over a bank holiday, he was always polite and friendly and nothing was to much trouble.
